She’s got our Suzanne Dress base with a little kick from satin ribbon and faux suede fringe details, perfect for a destination wedding in a sunny location or for the bride who loves color but still wants to look like “the bride”!

This gown was inspired by the traditional folk costumes of Northeastern Mexico (the state of Tamaulipas) and south Texas, where part of our family comes from. Ribbons around skirts unite cultures from Canada, the USA, & through Latin America, where we’ve married indigenous, European, African, and Asian influences to make new & beautiful traditions in the face of colonialism, slavery, immigration, migration, and more. Having the privilege to marry who we want to, when we want to, is something we should take time to appreciate during #pridemonth when this dress was launched, but also beyond June. For every one of our ancestors who didn’t have a choice, or made the best choices they could in less-than-ideal conditions, let’s always celebrate love and freedom to express it!

This gown is made to order for you, so please include your most accurate measurements and sizing details.

Please note that Selena still might require professional bridal alterations, though, and that the fabric has no stretch. So, if you run between sizes or fit into a range of sizes, please provide us with the largest size you ever wear so that the gown will not be too small.
 
You can indicate your largest street size in the text box provided, and then select your closest bridal size from the dropdown menu. Your bridal size is typically 2 sizes larger than street size, so if your largest dress size is usually a 6, then you are a bridal 10. 
 
If you fall outside of the bridal range we provided, select "other size", provide your measurements, and we will be in touch with you to chat about sizing and confirm your order once our dressmakers have approved the order. <3
 
NO EXTRA CHARGES FOR LARGER OR SMALLER SIZES WILL BE INCURRED, WE WILL ABSORB THE COSTS.
 
A seamstress or tailor can take the gown in, but they cannot help you if it is much too small. 

For most accurate measurements, please have a friend help you with the help of an online guide, or ask a seamstress or tailor to take your measurements. :)
